Short Course at 2010 NCA Convention in November

SC16: Teaching the College Course in Communication Theory

Monday, November 15, 12:30-3:15 pm

For instructors who are or will be teaching the undergraduate course and want students to understand, compare, and apply a range of communication theories. The course offers a variety of classroom activities, film/video/CD resources, discussion techniques, outside assignments, primary sources, methods of evaluation, theory coverage across different texts, and sample syllabi. The final hour will focus on ways to teach specific challenging theories. Continued online support offered.
