About Acrobat Reader

"pdf" stands for Portable Document Format, a file format developed by Adobe Systems that allows a facsimile of a document to be distributed electronically. Files are much larger than HTML files, but they do faithfully present the original look of a document.

To use pdf files, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer.

If you have Acrobat Reader, a new window will open, Acrobat Reader will load and open the document. To return to the where you were, simply close the window.

If you don't have Acrobat Reader or have an early version, you may get an error message or a dialog box that prompts you to save the file onto your computer.

To get Acrobat Reader, click on the icon below. The files required are fairly large, so allow time to do this (there will be more instructions on the site).
